CampVents – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and AMBIQUE LTD ("CampVents", "we", "us", "our"), a private limited company incorporated in England & Wales (company no. 164 202 05) with its registered office at 44 Broadway, London, England, E15 1XH.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the CampVents mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into contracts. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

1. Required Information. To create an Account you must provide:
   • a valid email address;
   • your full name; and
   • the university you attend.
2. Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep your Account information up to date.
3. Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must notify us immediately at info@campvents.app of any unauthorised access or breach.
4. Security Notifications. For each new login we collect security‑related metadata (time, IP address, device, location approximation) and send an automated email notification to you. These communications are service‑critical and not subject to marketing‑opt‑out.

AMBIQUE LTD acts as Data Controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – "GDPR") and the UK GDPR. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Our Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.

1. Marketplace Only. CampVents provides a technology platform that connects Users with Organizers. We do not organise, own, or control Events and are not a party to the contract between User and Organizer.
2. No Endorsement. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any Event or Organizer.
3. Third‑Party Services. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own Terms & Privacy Policy.

1. Pricing & Fees. Ticket prices are set by Organizers. CampVents may apply a booking fee clearly displayed at checkout.
2. Payment Processing. All amounts are charged in the currency shown. Stripe may place a temporary authorisation hold. We never store full payment details.
3. Refunds & Cancellations. Refund policies are determined by the Organizer. Requests must be directed to the Organizer. CampVents will process authorised refunds via Stripe.
4. Event Changes. Organizers may cancel, reschedule, or modify Events. CampVents is not liable for any resulting loss.

You agree not to:

1. Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
2. Upload malicious code or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
3. Misrepresent your identity or university affiliation.
4. Circumvent security features or access accounts other than your own.

1. Our IP. The Platform and all associated software, branding, and content (save for user‑generated Content) are the exclusive property of AMBIQUE LTD.
2. Licence to Users. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
3. User Content. By posting Content, you grant CampVents a worldwide, royalty‑free licence to host, display, and distribute such Content solely for Platform operation.

We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, use the Platform fraudulently, or if required by law. Upon termination, rights granted to you will cease and outstanding payments remain due.

1. As‑Is. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
2. Event Liability. CampVents is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from attendance at an Event.
3. Availability. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error‑free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampVents, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to CampVents in the preceding twelve (12) months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold CampVents harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. The courts of London, UK, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the EU may bring proceedings in their country of residence pursuant to Regulation (EU) 1215/2012.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you via email or in‑app message at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

• Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CampVents.
• Severability. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder will continue in full force.
• Assignment. You may not assign any rights; we may assign these Terms without restriction.
• No Waiver. Failure to enforce any right shall not be deemed a waiver.
